Student / People Development
Education to Employment
We find supporting peoples development very rewarding, At Next Theme, we provide work placements to local schools, and colleges – Bridging the gap between education and employment – working closely with Weston College, Priory Schools, WestHaven, and others to ensure that young people get the best experience of life after education.
Following the success of the Government Kickstart Scheme during the COVID pandemic, we set up a number of workstations to enable us to provide multiple placements at any one time, where students can chose between web design, digital marketing, graphic design, podcasting, photography, videography, PC assembly, Software troubleshooting, and more.
Priory School said “Joe runs a web development company from the Stable. He has supported us over the past 3 or 4 years offering work experience placements to students. He gives them a great overall experience and ensures they are exploring areas they are particularly interested in.
Kickstarter Journeys
The Government Kickstart Scheme was set up to provide work placements to young people between the ages of 16 and 24 for 6 months, who were at risk of long term unemployment.
Here are some of the success stories from when we employed 16 young people, providing valuable work and life experience.
